Our Journey
When I started as Data Scientist at M Core in 2022, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. M Core was the case study of a technophobic property company, fraught with all the technological challenges typical of the wider commercial real estate industry.
Every day brought new examples of brilliant property professionals doing manual work that could be automated, struggling with systems that didn't talk to each other, making decisions based on week-old data because that's how long it took to compile reports.
Six months later, Milo joined the team, and we quickly discovered we shared the same frustration with broken property tech and the same obsession with building solutions that actually work. What started as a working relationship became a true partnership.
Together, we delivered solutions that would change the company – the data warehouse that gave real-time visibility, the automated workflows that eliminated errors, the integrated systems that just made sense. The transformation was remarkable.
Suddenly, the same team that had been drowning in manual processes was making faster, better decisions. Cash collection improved dramatically. Operations that had been chaotic became smooth, reporting that had lagged by weeks became live. The business could finally scale.
That's when we realised we hadn't just solved M Core's problems – we'd developed a blueprint for transforming any property business. The question was: how many other talented property professionals were stuck with the same terrible technology we'd helped M Core escape?

Arthur Dodson
Co-Founder / CEOArthur came to M Core after working as a developer consultant at Cap Gemini for three years. He founded the Data and AI department and led the technological transformation that made M Core one of the most cutting-edge real estate companies in Europe today. Despite being one of the more skilled python engineers on the team, Arthur's main focus today is on the bigger picture of running the company.
Milo Smith
Co-Founder / CTOA mechanical engineer by training, Milo joined Arthur at M Core after a stint running the audit team at a legal-tech startup. Looking for a more hands-on role, he took the second spot in the Data and AI team and never looked back. Milo was responsible for engineering the data warehouse – the foundation on which the M Core data transformation was built. He now manages the team under Arthur and specialises in building AI integrated solutions.
